Most people think of Smith & Wesson as a handgun company, but this M&P15 Sport has definitely claimed a nice spot in the AR15 market since it was introduced in 2006. This 5.56 chambered AR15 has gone through a few updates over the years and a few variants are available.

Smith and Wesson built this rifle to be tough as nails, and it will stand the tests thrown at it. For budget ARs it is one of the most reliable on the market. Built to be tough and work when you need it most, this AR isn’t going to fire like some tricked-out SIG AR variant.

Both are basically the same rifle, chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO, with the T-model featuring folding sights and a four-sided accessories rail fore end. They include the standard direct impingement gas system.
